Venture Forthe provides comprehensive life skills training, from qualified professionals, that empowers our clients to live the most independent life possible.
Psychosocial Rehabilitation
These services include recovery-oriented activities designed to restore independent living skills, and overcome the symptoms associated with a diagnosis in order to become a productive member of your family and community. Psychosocial Rehabilitation may include personal autonomy, social skills, and personal care skills. While both are centered on recovery, rehabilitation focuses on relearning and restoring skills that have been diminished due to injury or illness, and habilitation focuses on developing new skills for independence.

Habilitation
Habilitation services aim to assist in recovery from symptoms associated with a diagnosis through assistance and support in learning new skills for independent living, such as shopping, budgeting, using community resources, and domestic self-care. Fine and gross motor skills, communication, and social skills may also be part of the service. While both are centered on recovery, habilitation focuses on developing new skills for independence, and rehabilitation focuses on relearning and restoring skills that have been diminished due to injury or illness.

Family Support
Family Support Services include guidance and information for family members involved in the recovery process, such as education on the diagnosis, treatment regimens and medication, and recovery concepts. Family support professionals assist families in using their existing strengths to develop coping skills, sustain healthy relationships, and create a safe and supportive environment conducive to recovery.

Peer Support
Individuals dealing with a behavioral health diagnosis are connected with a trained peer who has faced similar life and recovery experiences. Through peer modeling, participants learn how to manage symptoms, take steps towards recovery, and enhance their lives.

PBIS (Positive Behavior Interventions and Support)
This service is for individuals dealing with significant behavioral difficulties that jeopardize their ability to maintain a current living situation or ability to be part of the community. PBIS services can teach appropriate responses and actions, and assist with developing positive habits and behavior patterns. Services are personalized based on a comprehensive assessment and individual goals.
