Venture Forthe’s Social Day Program allows individuals to get out into their community with their peers and encourages socialization, creativity, and learning in a safe and supervised environment. Venture Forthe hosts our Social Day Program in the Ellicott Square Building in Downtown Buffalo.
Our Social Day Program (SDP) specializes in helping adults with cognitive impairments find more enjoyment out of life by providing opportunities to develop and advance daily living and social skills. Participants have a unique opportunity to be surrounded by their peers – others who understand the unique challenges they’re facing- in a setting where everyone can learn and grow together. Computer skills, gardening, arts & crafts, reading, music and community events are all some of the day-to-day activities participants and their families can expect at our program. Participants can enjoy making new friends and developing necessary life and social skills that contribute to a more rewarding life.

The Venture Forthe Social Day Program is held at our downtown Buffalo location and is available to eligible Erie and Niagara County residents.
