The Venture Forthe Niagara Falls Office and Training Center, established in 2004, is not only our first licensed location — it remains the heartbeat of our operations. It houses our scheduling headquarters and a robust support team dedicated to ensuring every client receives high-quality, person-centered care. Venture Forthe assists hundreds of residents of Niagara County with aging in place each year, enabling them to remain in their own homes as they age.
HCSS is ideal for individuals enrolled in the NHTD or TBI Waiver programs who require oversight and cueing to complete daily activities. Services may include assistance with errands, safety monitoring, and light household support to help maintain independence.
Our trained Personal Care Aides assist with daily activities, i.e. bathing, dressing, meal preparation, and mobility support. PCA services are for individuals who need hands-on help to remain safely in their homes.
CORE services provide strength-based, recovery-oriented mental health supports in the community. For example, these may include Peer Support, Family Support, Psychosocial Rehabilitation, and Empowerment Services for individuals eligible through Medicaid Managed Care.
Our Service Coordinators help individuals enrolled in the NHTD or TBI Waiver programs manage their care plans, access community resources, and ensure services are delivered as authorized. We act as a bridge between clients, providers, and state systems to ensure needs are met and goals are achieved.
We offer free Personal Care Aide (PCA) training for individuals looking to begin a career in home care. Each year, we welcome over 100 new employees in Niagara County alone, and train more than 1,000 individuals across our agency in a wide range of roles. The Venture Forthe Niagara Falls Office is the hub for our Scheduling Department. Additionally, the Scheduling Department works 24/7, meeting the needs of our clients to ensure proper coverage. For that reason, our Scheduling Department consists of about 20 employees to meet the Western and Central New York scheduling needs.
