The Complementary and Integrative Health (CIH) Waiver is a Health First Colorado Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) Waiver that helps eligible members with qualifying physical disabilities receive long-term services and supports in their homes and communities.
Venture Forthe provides Life Skills Training and Respite Care for eligible CIH Waiver members, with services focused on supporting independence, everyday living, and quality of life at home.
Life Skills Training provides personalized support to help members build and strengthen skills for greater independence at home and in the community. Support may focus on daily routines, household organization, meal planning, budgeting, community living, communication, problem-solving, and other skills based on individual gaols and authorized needs.
Respite Care provides temporary, dependable support when a primary caregiver needs time to rest, recharge, or manage other responsibilities. Services may include personal care, companionship, meal preparation, mobility support, safety supervision, and other authorized assistance based on individual needs.
While the CIH Waiver inlcudes a variety of available services, Venture Forhe focuses on two specialized supports that help members build independence and support family caregivers:

Our experienced team partners with your Case Management Agency and care team to provide person-centered services that help you achieve your goals while remaining active in your home and community.
The CIH Wavier is available to eligible Health First Colorado members who meet applicable program requirements and have qualifying needs for long-term services and supports.
Eligibility is determined through Health First Colorado and the appropriate assessment and case management process based on individual circumstances and program requirements.
