Venture Forthe, Inc. is pleased to announce a new workforce development initiative funded by the New York State Department of Health.
This program is designed to support workforce growth across the Southern Tier region, focusing on the Binghamton, Elmira, Corning, and Hornell communities.
Through this initiative, prospective Personal Care Aides (PCAs) will benefit from:
- A paid 40-hour training program to become certified PCAs
- Complimentary 60-day mentorship support for all newly hired participants, including both job-related guidance and personal support
- Financial assistance to reduce employment barriers, including transportation, childcare, work-related supplies, and other stability-related needs, to support consistent attendance and participation.
- Direct connection to employment opportunities within Venture Forthe, Inc., as well as with partner agencies, upon successful training completion.
This initiative aims to strengthen workforce pipelines while ensuring participants receive the support necessary to achieve long-term employment success and retention.
